Who you are contracting with
Image Enhancer is operated by GOJO BEST INVEST S.R.L., a Romanian company. When you create an account or buy credits on this site, your contract is with GOJO BEST INVEST S.R.L.. Questions and notices can be sent to support@imageenhancerapp.com.
What this service does
Image Enhancer is a tool that sends an image you upload to a third-party AI model and returns a restored version. It is meant as a restoration aid — cleaning up blur, noise, and damage while keeping the original subject intact. It is not a creative generator, an editor, or a forensic tool.
Accounts and eligibility
You need an account to buy credits or enhance photos. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher) and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for the security of your inbox and for any activity on your account. Accounts are personal — please don't share your sign-in link or transfer an account to someone else.
Credits and payments
Access to the enhancement service is metered in credits. Each successful enhancement consumes one credit. New accounts receive a small number of credits at no cost; additional credits are sold in one-time packages denominated in euros (EUR) on the pricing page.
- One-time purchases. Credit packages are purchased in a single transaction via Stripe Checkout. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
- Credits never expire for as long as your account remains active.
- Failed enhancements are automatically refunded in credits. If an enhancement attempt fails on our side or on the AI provider's side, the credit is returned to your balance without any action from you.
- No cash value. Credits are a licence to use the service. They are not currency, cannot be transferred between accounts, and have no value outside this service.
- Taxes. Prices include VAT where applicable. Stripe provides a payment receipt by email at the time of purchase.
Refunds and right of withdrawal
Our refund policy is set out in full on the Refund Policy page. In short: you can request a full refund on any unused credits within 14 days of purchase, failed enhancements are refunded automatically in credits, and credits that have already been consumed are non-refundable because the digital content they represent has been delivered.
Where the 14-day EU right of withdrawal for digital content applies, it is automatically exercised and lost to the extent you use credits from a purchase before the 14 days are up — you expressly consent to this by using credits. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected where they cannot be waived by contract.
Your photos, your responsibility
You may only upload photos that you own, have permission to process, or are otherwise legally allowed to enhance. Don't upload:
- Copyrighted images you don't have rights to.
- Photos of other people (especially children) without their permission.
- Illegal content of any kind.
- Sensitive materials such as government IDs, medical records, or anything you wouldn't want processed by a third-party AI provider.
You remain the owner of the photos you upload. We don't claim any rights over them, and we don't retain them after the enhancement completes. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
About the AI-generated output
The enhanced image is produced by an AI model and may contain subtle inaccuracies, differences from the original, or artifacts — even when the model does its best to preserve identity and scene. Use your judgment, especially for anything that matters legally, historically, or evidentially. The enhanced output is not a faithful forensic reconstruction.
Acceptable use
Please don't try to break, overload, or abuse the service. In particular:
- Don't attempt to bypass upload, rate, or credit limits.
- Don't automate bulk scraping of the enhancement endpoint.
- Don't use the service to generate or refine content that would violate the AI provider's policies, applicable law, or the rights of others.
- Don't create multiple accounts to abuse the signup-credit bonus.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and we may deny individual requests that appear abusive. Where the violation is serious, we may forfeit any remaining credits on the account without refund.
Content policy
Image Enhancer is a photo restoration tool. It is not a place to generate or enhance sexual content, content depicting minors in unsafe contexts, violent or hateful imagery, targeted harassment, or other content prohibited by the AI provider's safety policies or by applicable law. Every upload is screened by the AI provider's safety systems before an image is returned.
When the safety system flags an upload, we handle it in a predictable way:
- The enhancement is not delivered and the credit we reserved for that attempt is returned to your balance automatically. You are never charged for an image the safety system blocks.
- You'll see a one-time acknowledgment on each flagged upload asking you to confirm you understand this policy before you can submit another photo.
- Repeated flags lead to your account being blocked. Once an account crosses our internal threshold, it can no longer submit enhancements or buy credits, and any remaining balance is forfeited without refund. If you believe a block is a mistake, email support@imageenhancerapp.com.
We rely on the AI provider's safety systems as the primary signal — those systems are not perfect, but they are the same guard-rails used across the provider's other products, and we consider a flag from them authoritative for the purposes of this policy.
Service availability
We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The underlying AI provider may also be unavailable or return errors outside our control. Scheduled maintenance and third-party outages happen.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't guarantee that it will always work, always produce a good result, or be free from errors. Your statutory consumer rights (in particular any rights you have for digital content that doesn't conform to the contract) are not affected where they cannot be waived.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither GOJO BEST INVEST S.R.L. nor anyone associated with Image Enhancer is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — for example, lost data, disappointing results, lost profits, or decisions you make based on enhanced images. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time by emailing us (see the account privacy page). We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we need to in order to comply with the law, or if the service is being discontinued. We will give reasonable advance notice where possible.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be handled by the courts competent for the registered office of GOJO BEST INVEST S.R.L., except where mandatory consumer-protection rules give you the right to bring proceedings in the country where you live.
EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. If they change in a material way, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change too, and active accounts will be notified by email. Continuing to use the service after a material change counts as accepting the new version.
