Image Enhancer

Frequently asked

Questions, answered honestly.

If something isn't covered here, email us — every question helps us improve this page.

Will the people still look like themselves?
Yes — that's the core promise. The prompt explicitly asks the AI to preserve identity, facial features, expressions, hair, clothing, and scene. It's a restoration tool, not a creative generator.
Is my photo private?
Uploaded photos are never written to disk or stored in a database. They're held in memory only long enough to be enhanced, then discarded. We keep your account email and credit history so your balance works across sign-ins — nothing more. No ad trackers, no analytics pixels.
What kinds of photos work best?
Old family photos, scanned prints, blurry snapshots, low-resolution phone pictures, and photos with noise, scratches, dust, or fading. The more the source captures, the better the result.
What does it cost?
New accounts get 3 free credits — enough to try the service on real photos. After that, credits are sold in one-time packs on the pricing page (€5 / €19 / €79). There's no subscription, and credits never expire.
What if an enhancement fails?
If something goes wrong on our side or on the AI provider's side, the credit for that attempt is automatically refunded to your balance. You don't need to email us — retry the photo when you're ready.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Credits you've already used aren't refundable because the enhancement has been delivered. Full details are on the Refund Policy page.
How does the enhancement actually work?
Your photo is sent to Google's Nano Banana Pro image model (Gemini 3 Pro Image) with a carefully tuned restoration prompt. The model returns an enhanced version, which you see and can download. Nothing else happens.
Does it work on black-and-white photos?
Yes. By default, black-and-white tones are preserved and the focus is on sharpness and cleanup. Colorization is a different feature and isn't part of this version.
What file types and sizes are supported?
JPEG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC. Up to 20 MB per image, and up to 10 images per batch.
What if the result looks wrong?
AI enhancement isn't perfect. Try running the same photo again — each pass can differ. Larger, less-compressed source images generally produce better results. If something looks consistently off, let us know.
Can I use it on copyrighted or third-party photos?
Only use this on photos you own or have permission to process. Don't enhance images of people who haven't agreed to it, or copyrighted material you don't have rights to.
Which AI model does this use?
Google's Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image) as primary, with Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image) as an automatic fallback when the primary is busy. Both preserve identity and scene.
